Mr. Book just finished The Electoral College: A Biography Of America’s Peculiar Creation Through The Eyes Of The People Who Shaped It, by Thomas E. Weaver.

This book is a historical look at the electoral college. It focuses on 15 different elections, which raise different aspects of the electoral college. The book is definitely a strong argument against the electoral college. But, it is also balanced in that it does out some of the potential pitfalls that could arise if it was abolished (not that those pitfalls outweigh the benefits of abolishing it.

I give this book an A.
