Mr. Book just finished Wages Of Rebellion: The Moral Imperative Of Revolt, by Chris Hedges.
This book was published in 2015.
This is the seventh book by this author that I’ve read. Of the first six, one got an A+ (Death Of The Liberal Class), three others got an A and there was one B+ and one B.
But, this was not one of Hedges’s success. The book seemed to be about the threat of revolution in the US, but it read as if it was just a bunch of his thoughts on random topics that he wanted to complain about. While some of it was interesting, there were too many times in which I was wondering how is this supposed to fit into the rest of whatever this book is about.
I give this book a C.
Goodreads requires grades on a 1-5 star system. In my personal conversion system, a C equates to 2 stars. (A or A+: 5 stars, B+: 4 stars, B: 3 stars, C: 2 stars, D or F: 1 star).
