Mr. Book just finished Lovely One: A Memoir, by Ketanji Brown Jackson.

This is one of the best autobiographies I’ve read in a while. From the start of book, Justice Jackson makes you care about every aspect of her life. It did seem as though there was more about her early life than this in most autobiographies, but I never had the feeling that I wanted to move on to other things. Her writing style, as well as how interesting it was, made every aspect of her life enjoyable to read.

This book was filled with highlights, far too many to list. As soon as I finished it, I went to get the audiobook so I will also be able to listen to it. I hope that she follows the lead of Justice Breyer and also writes some books while she is serving on the Supreme Court.

I give this book an A+ and inducted it into the Hall of Fame. Goodreads requires grades on a 1-5 star system. In my personal conversion system, an A+ equates to 5 stars. (A or A+: 5 stars, B+: 4 stars, B: 3 stars, C: 2 stars, D or F: 1 star).
